Horizon League Men’s Basketball Tournament

The Horizon League is a college athletics conference based in the midwestern United States. There are ten members including Cleveland State University, University of Detroit Mercy, University of Wisconsin–Green Bay, Indiana University – Purdue University Indianapolis, University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, Northern Kentucky University, Oakland University, University of Illinois at Chicago Wright State University, and Youngstown State University.

The 2019 Men's Basketball Conference Tournament will be played in March at Little Caesar's Arena in downtown Detroit. This arena is also the home to the National Basketball Association's Detroit Pistons and the NHL's Redwings. The Horizon League is best known for hoops success. The Conference had an impressive stretch from 2005 to 2011 where Milwaukee, Cleveland State and former member Butler racked up seven wins. Butler had two national championship game appearances in that span.

The Norse of Northern Kentucky had a solid year. They pillaged their way just like their historical name sake to a 23-8 record. Their 13-5 mark in Horizon games firmly put them in first place. Wright State is another team having a solid year. This tournament is worth watching simply due to the possibility a cinderella might emerge like Butler did.

Sports gamblers can wager on Horizon League tournament games on an online sports book. A physical brick and mortar one is an option too depending on where your live.
